Mrs. Ocia Smith entered this world June 6, 1905 through the
marriage of Mr. Camp and Lue Clewis. She was one of five
children. She attended Galilee School and worked for the Missouri Pacific Hospital. At an early age she united with the Anderson Chapel A.M.E. Church. Ocia was married to Millard Smith on November 5, 1922. To them four daughters were born. Her mother, father and husband preceded her in death. She is survived by: her children, Mary E. Hinton, Lillie Mae Holmes, Mamie Birdow and Vivian Hinton; fifteen grandchildren; forty-eight great grandchildren; fifty-one great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Estelle Muse and Roberta Smith; a special friend, Joe Butler; and a host of other relatvies and friends. Her family and friends will miss her very much. May God take her over to Glory. |
